SpillMaster® Original In Use

is built tough to provide the maximum in protection with a minimum of maintenance. SpillMaster® Original is designed with a semi-rigid material, which provides a vertical screen barrier against contaminates, floating oil and debris. It is free to bend with the horizontal plane as well as to conform to water movements resulting in better ability to withstand the marine environment.

• Rotationally Molded polyethylene shell with a nominal 3/16-inch wall thickness, corners exceed a thickness of ¼-inch, providing great structural integrity that makes it impact resistant and long lasting.
• The floats are injected with a U.S. Coast Guard approved polyurethane closed cell flotation foam and are hermetically sealed with minimal air space to increase effectiveness and lifespan of the float.
• The float pair is lean when attached to the barrier fabric and is less than 8½-inches wide so it can be placed easily between pilings or under piers where many boom systems are too wide. Also, provides less resistance/hang-ups when towing around pilings.
• Hand holds for ease of lifting
•  All edges of the float are rounded to prevent the floats from gouging the barrier fabric during flexing of the boom, allowing the fabric to handle the stress of flexing with minimum wear.
• International Safety Orange (Outrageous Orange) is our primary float color. This particular shade is renowned for its ability to remain colorfast. UV and Colorfast stabilizers added to ensure a long life span.
• Bolt on for easy removal and replacement.
• PSI keeps floats readily available allowing replacement of floats as needed rather than having to replace entire sections of boom, which translates into less out-of-service time and improved cost efficiency.
• Float weight is 7.5 lb.
• Accepts hardware from ¼-inch to 3/8-inch.
• Buoyancy ratio 6 - 1 for maximum freeboard

Fabric - 164 oz PVC , Black 80 oz Alloy (XR-5), or 100 oz. Urethane coated polyester belting  

Flotation - Molded polyethylene abrasion resistant and UV inhibited shell, filled with close-cell hydrocarbon and water resistant foam. 
Ballast - standard lead, galvanized steel available on request
Overall Height - available in 18, 24, or 36 inch ( custom sizes also available)
Standard Section Lengths - 50 or 100 foot (custom lengths also available)
Connectors - Universeal (quickslide), ASTM (quickconnect), Navy (male/female), and NEW! PVC ASTM

Standard Features:  Boom complete with anchor points and handles. Zinc anodes to protect end connectors.  Connectors with ridges for better gripping of material.
